Arsenal Loanee Praised by Club President After 2-Assist Debut

Arsenal loanee Marquinhos has been praised by his club president, Alexandre Schneider, after making an impressive debut for the Swiss side FC Zurich.

The 19-year-old Brazilian winger joined Zurich on loan from Arsenal in the summer and made his debut in the Swiss Super League against FC Lugano.

Marquinhos made an immediate impact for his new club, providing two assists in Zurich's 3-0 win.

His first assist came in the 12th minute when he crossed for Wilfried Gnonto to head home.

Marquinhos then set up Fabian Rohner for Zurich's third goal in the 82nd minute.

After the match, Schneider praised Marquinhos' performance, saying: "I am very happy with Marquinhos' debut.
